2010年度UA创作奖·概念设计国际竞赛启动
竞赛题目：UA城的商业建筑
竞赛宗旨：商业的发展会不断激发城市的活力，商业建筑作为反映社会生活的舞台，在城市发展进程中一直扮演着十分重要的角色。现代、高效的城市生活催生了新的商业模式，UA城的商业建筑将随着社会生活的深刻变化，以更多元的方式切入城市，为人们提供更丰富的生活体验，并引导城市更健康地发展。
竞赛要求：参赛者可自行选择合适的区域来构建理想的城市空间，用建筑的语言表达对题目的理解，以可持续的城市发展理念对建筑的形体、环境、空间模式等进行概念设计。

竞赛流程（以北京时间为准）：
1．交纳注册费：截止日期为2010年11月15日，在此之前交纳注册费（50元人民币/组）至竞赛组委会；交纳方式包括支付宝和邮局汇款两种，支付宝账号为：uawork@foxmail.com，汇款地址为：哈尔滨市南岗区海河路202号2545信箱《城市建筑》杂志社（邮编150090）。
2．获取注册号：截止日期为2010年11月24日，请在此之前将支付宝付款抓屏文件（或邮局汇款底单扫描文件）连同参赛者姓名、指导教师姓名、学校（或单位）名称、电子邮箱、联系电话、邮寄地址及邮政编码等内容发送到uajs@vip.sina.com，24日竞赛组委完成注册号发放工作；为确保竞赛组织工作的高效，主办方在发放注册号后不提供参赛团队人员、指导教师姓名的更改及补充工作。
3．提交作品：截止日期为2010年12月20日（周一），请在当日17:00之前，将参赛作品以附件形式发送指定电子邮箱，竞赛组委会安排统一打印。
4．现场评审：2011年2月19日～20日（正月十七至十八）。
5．网站公示：2011年2月23日～3月9日。
6．结果公布：2011年3月15日，网站公布竞赛结果；《城市建筑》2011年4月“特别报道”栏目详细报道。
作品提交：
1．参赛方案应完整呈现于2张图纸内，图纸分辨率为200dpi（像素/英寸），尺寸600mm×600mm；图中文字须中、英双语对照，汉字不小于20pt（点），图面表达方式不限。
2．图纸以jpg格式发送uajs@vip.sina.com，分别以“注册号-A”“注册号-B”命名；邮件名称以与图纸相同的注册号命名，其他文件名将不作提交作品之邮件考虑。
3．连同图纸电子文件一并提交150-200字以内作品简介（中文，word97-2003版本），获取注册号时的联络电话或电子邮箱若有更改，须特别注明，以免获奖后主办方无法及时联络。
4．图纸及文档发送邮件时切勿打包压缩或以QQ邮箱超大附件形式发送，以免解压缩失败或链接有误。
竞赛规定：
1．个人或小组（不超过3人）均可参赛，同意并遵守本竞赛通知的内容及竞赛规则；
2．获奖名单公布后，前三等奖获奖者立即获得奖金金额的60%，在团队中至少一名成员在本次竞赛主协办单位完成2个月的工作实习后，获得剩余40%奖金；实习薪酬由协办单位按照竞赛合作协议规定标准另行支付；如获奖者放弃实习机会视同放弃获得剩余40%奖金的权利。
3．图纸中不得出现任何有关作者姓名和所在单位的文字或图案，不得出现参赛注册号，不符合规定者取消参赛资格。
4．参赛作品（包括图片、文字）将不退与参赛者；参赛者拥有参赛作品的版权，但无条件允许竞赛组织者行使参赛作品署名权以外的其他版权权利。
5．参加过其他竞赛的作品，或使用他人曾经在公开场合发表过的创意的作品不允许参加竞赛。

Subject: Commercial Architecture in UA City
Aim and Objective: The commercial advance constantly invigorates the city, and commercial architecture, the platform mirroring social life, always has its significant part in urban development. New commercial model has emerged and evolved in modern efficient urban life of UA city, in which the commercial architecture has been diversified with profound changes of social life, providing more various living experience and ushering the city in more healthy development.
Requirements: The contestants may choose an area in UA city to create urban space, elaborating their understanding of the subject in architectural language and making concept design of the form, environment and special model of a building with sustainable urban development outlook.

Agenda (subject to Beijing time):
1. Registration fees： Payment of registration fees (50RMB/group) shall be submitted until November 15th, 2010 to the organizing committee of the competition on either Alipay (Account: uawork@foxmail.com ) or remittance (Address: Urbanism and Architecture, No.202, Haihe Rd., Nangang District, P.O.box 2545, Harbin 150090)
2. Registration ID Acquisition: Alipay payment completion screenshot (or scanning remittance bill) along with such information as name of the contestant, name of the instructor, school (or organization), Email add., contact No., postal add. and postal No. shall be sent to uajs@vip.sina.com before November 24th, 2010 when the organizing committee will complete issuing registration ID. To guarantee an efficient organization, the sponsor will not change or add contestants and instructors information after the completion of issuing registration ID.
3. Submission: Entries shall be submitted before 17:00, Monday December 20th, 2010 to designated email address as attachment which the organizing committee will arrange for printing.
4. Assessment: Feb. 19th-20th, 2011 (Jan. 17th-18th in lunar calendar)
5. Public scrutiny on web: Feb. 23rd-Mar. 9th, 2011
6. Results announcement: Mar. 15th, 2011 on web, and detailed in Special Report of Apr. 2011, Urbanism and Architecture.
Work Submission:
1. The contestants may present their entries within 2 drawings of 600mm×600mm in 200dpi (PPI) with bilingual description in Chinese (≥20pt) and English.
2. Send email titled by Registration ID with drawings in jpg format respectively named Registration ID-A and Registration ID-B to uajs@vip.sina.com, otherwise submission will not be considered as valid.
3. Provide work description of 150-200 words ( in Chinese，format .doc of word97-2003). Specify changes in contact No. and email add. so as to avoid losing contact.
4. Do not compress or package drawings and documents data nor send via supper large attachments service of QQmail.
Competition Rules:
1. Individuals and groups (no more than 3 members) are qualified to participate as long as both accept and observe notifications and regulations of this competition.
2. As soon as the prize list is announced, the First, Second and Third Prize winners will receive 60% of the bonus, the rest 40% of which will be granted after at least one member of the prize-winning groups finishes his/her internship in the competition’s sponsors, and the emolument of the 2-month internship will be paid separately according to cooperation agreement of this event. Giving up the internship will be deemed as abandonment behavior of the rest 40% bonus.
3. Any writing or pattern marking the designer, organization and registration ID may not be included in drawings, otherwise the submission will be disqualified.
4. Submission of any entry (images and writings), which will not be returned, and the the intellectual property rights of which will remain with the designer(s), grants to competition organizer the copyright unconditionally other than paternity right.
5. Entries that have been submitted in other contests or that are on the ideas of other published works are not qualified to participate.
